Dream about being in a tropical location, meeting a hippie guy who reminds me of Nick/Bill. I think we are somewhat romantically entangled, because we soend a lot of the dream together. There are a bunch of other hippies there. It's some kind of healing retreat center. Something about psychedelics, maybe an obstacle course. Layyz? A bus to leave. Someone says these people at the bougie healing retreat are rainbow family, and it makes sense to me. Something about rainbow, and a flashback to another dream about rainbow where it was in a huge, lush forest. They said in the dream we were in Oregon, but it almost looked more like, tropical. (Just heard "tropic of cancer" in my head). Dream about encountering wild axolotls at A tropical small island sandbar. They are mama axolotls with babies who crawl up onto my arms. They are kind of slimy and soft, and seem so vulnerable. There are killer whales jumping onto the beach,I get nervous about them attacking me, but they don't. I'm trying to take photos with the axolotls before I leave and protect them from the whales. I think how asher would love this and he appears. I put the axolotls in a safe space on the little beach, and I realize that the mama had dropped a couple babies and I go pick them up. One seemed cold and dead, but I bring it to its mama anyway, and am relieved when I see it move after I pump it's chest a couple times. The mama axolotl starts looking like calypso.bAs I go to walk back to the boat, which is a little bit underwater and looks like a row boat. I notice there are more axolotls and mama buried in the sand so I walk carefully and tell asher to do the same. I think about how I've manifested this exact place and encounter. Dream that I'm on my "honeymoon" but it's like that movie, Blink Twice, where the men are drugging so we don't remember what's happening and abusing us. I see flashbacks of the sexual violence happening. I am doing magic with red rose petals from a dried up dead rose like the ones in my house. I am putting them down the bath drain and around the white villa to call upon a spirit of a woman who died on this island long ago to seek her vengeance on the men. This island has a dark curse for centuries. The red of the rose petals contrasting with the all white is like, the drops of blood in the "purity" of the white illusion. The house is almost all white, with a lot of flowing linen fabrics, like on the windows and on the beds. Some kind of wood floors, but everything is light or light toned. The other women start remembering what's going on here after I do the rose petal magic, and my "husband" (I don't recognize him or feel anything for him) is angry with me that I've figured it out. He yells at me for being in the main suite, the room where the men are staying. I'm looking under the bed when he finds and starts yelling at me. I run to the patio and try to lock and shut all the doors while he comes after me, trying to call 911. I think about jumping but there's big rocks under the patio. I am trying to slide shut snd lock the screen door and he is trying to force his way out when I wake up.
Your dream encompasses a rich tapestry of themes and imagery, revealing layers of meaning related to your emotional state, subconscious desires, and perhaps even fears. Here’s a breakdown of the key elements you presented:
Tropical Location & Healing Retreat: This setting suggests a desire for escape, relaxation, or healing. The tropics might symbolize freedom, vitality, or paradise but may also relate to searching for an inner peace. The healing aspect hints that you are seeking emotional or spiritual rejuvenation.
Hippie Guy & Romantic Entanglement: The presence of the hippie character, especially one reminiscent of someone you know, suggests a longing for connection or a rekindling of feelings linked to that person. This character's association with freedom, peace, and love embodies exploration and perhaps a need for deeper, uninhibited relationships.
Psychedelics & Rainbow Family: Psychedelics might symbolize expanded consciousness and exploration of your inner self, while the idea of a "rainbow family" conveys connection, inclusiveness, diversity, and acceptance. This part of your dream may reflect your yearning for community and belonging.
Wild Axolotls: Encountering these creatures—often symbols of regeneration and transformation—could represent vulnerability, fragility, and your nurturing nature. The mama axolotl with her babies reflects themes of motherhood and protection; you seem to have a strong instinct to care for and safeguard those who are vulnerable, which may parallel real-life situations or relationships.
Killer Whales: Their presence introduces an element of danger or anxiety but also strength and intelligence. You might feel a conflict between protecting the vulnerable parts of yourself (represented by the axolotls) and confronting powerful challenges (the whales).
Honeymoon & Dark Undertones: The honeymoon morphing into a scenario of manipulation and abuse symbolizes feelings of entrapment, disillusionment, or vulnerability in a relationship. The contrast between the white villa and the red rose petals suggests a struggle between apparent purity and underlying darkness or danger.
Magic and Seeking Vengeance: The act of performing magic with the rose petals highlights a desire to reclaim power or seek justice. It suggests that you're confronting past trauma or looking to break free from cycles of victimization.
Fear and Flight: The oppressive situation with your “husband” reflects feelings of being trapped or pursued, mirroring real-life fears or anxieties. The urge to call for help indicates your need for safety and support when facing overwhelming situations.
Overall, your dream seems to weave together themes of seeking healing, grappling with vulnerability, navigating complex emotions in relationships, and reclaiming your power against threats. It suggests a rich inner life and indicates a journey to understand your desires, fears, and instincts towards protection and healing. Reflecting on these themes may help you gain further insights into your current emotional landscape and what you’re longing for in your waking life.
